I sent Mazey 3 beats in April, and the next morning she already sent a demo back. That track was bloom a love song for her partner Isaiah Dreads who later mastered the track. I’ve been making beats under the alias M.KOZI since 2010 (soundcloud.com/emkozey). Playing around with frame animations like the simple flower blooming into a star, just a rough sketch of an idea i had. Ended up becoming the main element in creating the title animation for the music video and the visual roll out of the single. As Mazey is Cornwall and I’m in Wiesbaden I ended up creating a music video with stock footage as a visual accompaniment to the song.
